The Day School Children's Benefit Concert on Saturday, April 20th from 4pm to 5 pm
Come spend an afternoon with friends and family singing along to classics such as If Your Happy And You Know It, This Old Man and Down By The Bay. This family-friendly event is open to the public. All proceeds will go to The Day School’s Financial Aid fund.
Our singer and Day School grandmother, Patricia Dennison was raised in a small town near Rochester, New York. Patricia Dennison began to write music at the tender age of 14. She is a self-taught guitarist who has performed with Hugo Winterhalter and Harry Chapin. In 1973 she produced her first album with the band Heaven and Earth, titled, “Refuge”. In 2010 Dennison Digital Arts produced her solo ablum Who’s Watching and she has recently been featured at venues such as Café Vivaldi and The Path Café. She attended the Julliard School of Music and studied the Fred Waring diphthong method of choral singing. She has been teaching, singing and writing children’s music for over thirty years. She is thrilled to be playing in support of her grandson Oscar’s school.
